March 31, 2002 I came upon your site while searching for picture of flowers, and I was impressed with the content I found. It is nice to find other people who share a variety of interests: mathematics, science, visual arts and writing. I commend you for your good work, keep it up! Nina Tang
February 26, 2002 I stumbled across your website and enjoyed reading the excellent articles. Look forward to future visits. For a different type of "kahani" you can look up my website http://sagar.physics.neu.edu/. Sri Sridhar
July 12, 2001 Dear Kahany, I've enjoyed browsing your website. I came across it recently while searching for links containing my name. I especially enjoyed your wonderful commentary about your feeling of empowerment upon realizing that "a transistor had there been silently born, at the overlap of the pink and the green"! I am interested in India and its culture - and would enjoy hearing from you sometime. All the best,
PS: My website is at http://www.lynnconway.com/
April 23, 2001 Every time I visit this site, something in it makes me feel good. The drawings and pictures are simply outstanding, and the site is so well designed. Best of all, Arun is obviously writing and sketching from his heart. Arun
Kahany is a very nice site which speaks to the persons visiting it (of course even in the absence of sound card in the PC). The science page maintained by K. VijayRaghavan is excellent and is one of the best advisable to young students as well as to the old. I felt that page more attractive as it generates a sense of scientific aptitude in me. Shebi
Abha Varma's review of my book titled With Love From Britain (1999) was a pleasant reading for me. This is my first book. I am encouraged by her comments to continue such writing in personal narratives style. THANKS ABHA. Urmila Mohapatra
Good that you are enthusiastically maintaining the lovely site...keep up the good work!! Vishnu
I thoroughly enjoyed your lovely web site and found it to be relaxing and a reminder of just what a truly lovely planet we are fortunate enough to live on. Clearly you are truly adept at recording the beauty of nature. I also look forward to the continuation of the story. It is regrettable that many old traditional yarns of many nations and cultures are being lost. I applaud the effort and time you have put into preserving a wonderful story-telling tradition. The very best of good fortune to you. Bethany
Have discovered your site from a reader of The Gazette Web Page in Sat. Jan. 13th, 2001 edition. What lovely art work, photography multi-talents. Are you several people or one person? The web site itself is original, & easy to use. One question, when it says "drawing", we can't click on that word. Does it mean that they come after all the photos didn't see that) or they are the flowers & birds on the pages. Congratulations. What a treat for us. In Quebec I've never seen water lilies in any other color but yellow. Sheila Hecke
Very nice-beautiful flowers and others. Bob C.
If you get a little flurry of hits on your website, blame it on me. I sent your URL to our local daily The Gazette with the following comments: "Here is one of my favourite web sites, stumbled on accidentally when looking for news about an old friend. You will rarely find such a combination of writings, photos, artistic presentation, mathematical and biological tutorials. Altogether a delightful and amusing site done with great taste and charm. Click on over to it and enjoy. Signed John F. Davis, Saint-Bruno, Quebec, Canada". John Davis
I have always been a fan of your writing on Sulekha.com and wondered what happened for after a while your contributions there seemed to have dwindled away. And then I chanced upon this site. I am breathless to see such exquisite work with so much consistency. Congratulations and hats off to you sir. You are incredibly talented. Raghu Kulkarni
Have had a good look at your water lilies photographed at the Austin Gardens in Texas. Incomparable photos, congratulations. On my high-speed access line they come up almost instantly. Thank you for this pleasure. John Davis
My sister Savitha (Desai) told me of your stories. I have read only the first one and am very impressed with it. I was wondering if you've considered publishing them. Thank you,
I just wanted to drop a note, I found the photographs and picture book to be quite lovely... Mary Chuhran
Its really beautiful site and i will love to read all the work in this site. Anupama
I am at a total loss for words. This is not a normal state of affair for me. To capture so much beauty in so little can not be an endeavour of a man. Assuming that Gods made the world and all things beautiful and ugly, it must then be an act of the devil to present a story so enticingly, seducing you with its visual serenity and softness. After this visual feast and for more than a few moments, after a very tiring day, I am refreshed and no longer heavy headed. And at 7.20 pm in the evening it is enough for one man to thank another for this act of benevolence, unintended perhaps. Lastly and unashamedly, I will be willing to rob, steal kill or at your option Satan, sell my soul to just be in the same room as where a panel from the story adorns a wall. For I am totally bewitched by what I saw. Ravi Challu
Good Show. Raghava Varma
I've just visited your web 'kahany'. It was a big peep into your personality and I'm mightily impressed with the diverse interests that you are occupied with. Presentation is simply fabulous! Incidentally Sanjukta Panigrahi and husband Guru Kelukaranji (have I got that correct?), were here in KL and I saw her dance at 6ft distance to a select group. Was that a treat! Pity she is no more. Keep up the good work. Ashok Menon
